Why We Built Calcdesk
Calcdesk started from a simple frustration: finding a loan payment calculator online meant wading through five pop-ups, a forced email signup, and a result buried under three paragraphs of irrelevant content. The calculation itself — a formula that takes half a second — was wrapped in friction designed to capture your data, not help you.
We think calculators should work the way a knowledgeable friend would: give you the number you need, explain how it works, and get out of your way. No sign-ups. No data harvesting. No manipulative dark patterns. Just the calculation.

Our Approach to Accuracy
Every calculator on Calcdesk uses either a widely recognised standard formula (like the Mifflin-St Jeor equation for calories, or Naegele's Rule for pregnancy due dates) or industry-standard calculation methodology. We document the formula used on every page so you can verify the maths independently.
We regularly review our calculators for accuracy and update them when standards change. If you believe a calculation is incorrect, please contact us with the inputs you used and the result you expected — we take accuracy reports seriously and respond to every one.
Privacy and Data
Calculator inputs are processed in your browser using JavaScript. They are not transmitted to our servers, stored in any database, or used for any purpose. How Calcdesk Is Funded
Calcdesk is free and always will be. The site is funded through display advertising (Google AdSense). We aim to place ads in a way that does not interfere with the calculators or content. We do not accept sponsored content, paid calculator features, or advertiser influence over our results or recommendations.
